“It is in your hands, to make a better world for all who live in it.” – Nelson Mandela. Abhishek Pradeepkumar is not your typical 12th grader. What may seem as an introverted commerce student at the onset will soon reveal a spirited teenager filled with ideas and experiences. He is a passionate debater, a fearless thinker, and a solid team worker. He is a self-professed perfectionist who wouldn’t compromise on the quality and authenticity of anything he works on. As the Director-General of ISMUN 2K23, Abhishek seeks to carry forward the legacy of ISMUN into 2023 while ensuring it reaches new heights. He also works to create the event a memorable experience for everyone, particularly the delegates.

Nia, an energetic and high-spirited soul, is someone you will see everywhere and all over the place, which is mainly because she participates in most of the events and opportunities that come along. With her leadership qualities and great dedication towards whatever she does, she is a perfectionist. A friendly team player and social bean, she loves interacting with people and is a magnet for quirkiness. An aspiring criminal investigator, she often finds herself in the middle of heart-stopping thriller series or books. As the Director General of ISMUN 2K23, she plans on putting her best foot forward for the event she is so passionate about.
ANANYA KUNDETKAR

“Dream, believe and do” – that’s Ananya for you! She is a keen observer and an eloquent person. Contrary to her otherwise stoic and silent demeanor, Ananya is an avid debater and storyteller. Friends compare her to vanilla ice cream, plain and simple yet versatile. Mathematics is her favorite subject, but she doesn’t subtract fun from her life! She loves solving logic-based problems and riddles. Ananya and sports are a perfect match, just like mac ‘n’ cheese. She plays multiple sports competitively. Along with a great interest in drama and a passion for the stage, she holds a master’s degree in hibernation with a specialization in holidays. As the Charge d’Affaires of ISMUN 2K23, Ananya hopes to fulfill her responsibility with complete dedication and diligence and help ISMUN reach its zenith.

International Singhania Model United Nations (ISMUN) is an offline MUN simulation conducted by Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School, Thane. It has served as a unique platform for honing one’s skills in debate, diplomacy and leadership since 2015, with ISMUN 2K23 being the 8th edition of the school’s most prestigious event.
ISMUN 2K23 is being held from 27th to 29th July 2023 in the campus of Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School.
ISMUN 2K23 has 9 power-packed committees, including 3 Indian committees alongside 6 UN committees. Refer to the committee section of the website for further details!
There are 2 dress codes. Delegates are to wear Formals on Day 1 (July 27) and Day 3 (July 29)
Delegates are to wear Traditional Indian Wear for Day 2 (July 28)
The UNA-USA MUN rules are being followed at ISMUN, with a slightly modified version of it used for the Indian committees to suit certain special aspects of those committees.

Entry fees at ISMUN 2K23 will be ₹2700 for in-house students and ₹3000 for external delegates. For external delegates – once you receive an email confirming your delegation at ISMUN 2K23, you may proceed with the payment of fees via bank transfer, details of which will be provided to you in a separate email (you can make such bank transfers from any UPI banking app as well). In-house students may do a physical payment at the school’s accounts office.
Due to the short duration between the time of payments and the main days of the event, we will not be providing refunds in case of cancellation of attendance post-payment.
